Ward 7 High School Council

We are excited to announce that we are assembling a High School Council for Jackson's 7th Ward. It will be a chance for selected high school students to learn more about city government and have the opportunity to provide the youth perspective to city leaders.

Benefits for the students selected to serve:

2. It will be highly educational.

3. It will be a chance to give back to their community.

4. It will be an opportunity to network and get to know other students throughout the ward.

5. It will be an excellent resume-builder.

We've designed the High School Council to hopefully be a reasonable commitment, even for busy students. We will meet as follows: 9am-noon on Sat 10/25, and 5-6pm once a month after that (Weds 11/12, 12/3, 1/7, 2/4, 3/4, 4/8, and 5/13.
